By Trimming you can determine which section of your video will be displayed in the video player for your viewers. This function is interesting, especially after the end of a livestream. If Video.Taxi is commissioned to record the livestream, it is immediately available in the media library after the end, and you can redefine the start and end by trimming. The recording itself remains uncut. However, the player only plays the area you have selected. The link you communicate for the livestream will also remain valid for the recording.
First, select the video you want to edit in your MEDIA.
Under the video to be edited you will find the TRIMMING tab. Make sure that "Trim Enabled" is turned on. Then you can select the time range that you want to trim.
Jump to the position you want to cut from, then click SET to the right of FROM. (Now you see a time next to it. This is the start time in the video).
When the desired end is reached, click SET to the right of TO.
Then activate the slider next to TRIM ENABLED.
Now, when your users access the player, only the 'trimmed' area will be played.
