In the third step of the livestream creation you decide if you want to have a player for external embedding and on which (social media) platforms it should possibly run.
Select "Publish to my own website or system" if you want to publish the stream or the VOD available afterwards on a system other than Video.Taxi. This setting is recommended, because only by activating it some useful functions are possible (e.g. recording of the stream, automatically generated subtitles etc.).
In the next field you can specify a text that should be displayed to the viewers in the player. By default this is the start time of the livestream, but what you want to tell your viewers is up to you, of course.
For the "Type of HLS stream" you can choose between "Standard" and "Ideal for long-term events". If you know that your event will go on for quite a long time (more than 10 hours) it's best to choose the latter option to guarantee your viewers the best quality over a longer period of time.
Finally, you can select up to ten additional destinations to broadcast your livestream. These could be your social media accounts or your own RTMP targets. You can read more about this here.
When done with Step 3, it is time for Step 4: Extras.
