After clicking "Add a livestream", you will be guided through the five steps of livestream creation. In the 1st Content step, you'll enter the title, description, start time, and source of the livestream.
First, give your stream a name, which will not be visible to your viewers. The description gives the viewers an idea of what the stream will be about. It is only visible in the media library or for paid content. The start time tells you when the stream should start. Your timezone is used for this, you can find out how to change it here.
Under Input Source you select where the content, i.e. video and audio signal, will be delivered from. With Push, an encoder delivers the signal directly to Video.Taxi. With Stream from a source (Pull) Video.Taxi gets the signal from the encoder by specifying stream URL provided by the encoder. Video.Taxi Studio is a browser-based livestream interface that is intuitive to use. Learn more about it here. Premiere a VOD lets you stream prerecorded content that's already in your VOD items.
When done with Step 1, it is time to move to Step 2: Settings.
