After enabling automated subtitles for your livestream, you can now also enable the Live Subtitle Editor to edit the automatically generated subtitles live. This allows for human error correction, which is especially helpful to avoid errors.
To activate it, go to the "Transcriber" section of your livestream (this only shows after activating subtitles) and click on "Edit".
In the opening window tick "Enable live subtitle editor". Then you can set how much time should be available to edit a sentence before it goes live, this time will be added to the delay of the livestream. We have set 30 seconds by default here.
When the livestream is running, go to the "Transcriber" section again and click on "Open Editor" to get to the editor's user interface.
Now you can see what automated subtitles the engine generates and freely edit in them before they go live. The numbers at the beginning of the sentences indicate how much time is left before the sentence goes live, and thus can no longer be edited. Green in this case means 30 to 11 seconds left, yellow 10 to 4 seconds and red 3 to 1 seconds.
In the video section on the right, you can rewind, fast forward, pause, adjust volume, and jump to live. The shortcuts at the bottom right increase efficiency and make the editing process faster and smoother.
