To have your meeting transcribed and translated, you need to add a bot to your meeting. To do this, click “New Area" in the top-right corner of SPEECH MEETINGS.
In the window that opens, give the session a name and enter the meeting URL (if available). Below that, give the bot a name (it will join the meeting under this name). You can enable the “language specialization” feature if the meeting primarily involves medical topics. Also, under “Source Language,” specify the language that will be spoken most frequently during the meeting. Below that, select the translation languages. Finally, you can select a pre-created vocabulary to improve speech recognition. Click “Create” when you’re done.
In the newly created section, you’ll see all relevant details on the left (link, name, languages etc.). You can edit these at any time by clicking the three dots in the top right corner. Here, you can also customize the welcome message that the bot posts in the meeting chat when it joins, as well as the bot image.
To have the bot join the meeting, click “Start” in the upper-right corner.
After a few moments, the bot will join the meeting and automatically send a message with a link to the meeting chat, which participants can use to follow the live transcription and translation.
