Video.Taxi has recently offered you the opportunity to carry out polls during a livestream.
As the organizer/admin of a livestream, you have the option to prepare and start polls in the Cockpit Player or in the Video.Taxi Studio (Private & public chat). How this works is explained in the following section:
1. Go to the chat of your livestream and click on the icon to the left of the chat settings
2. Create the poll and add answer options. Click on "Allow multiple answers" if you want your viewers to be able to select multiple answers. Then decide whether you want to start the poll directly ("Ask audience now"), or save it and show it at a later time ("Save for later"). The second option can be useful, for example, to prepare a full set of polls before a live event begins
3. Once a poll is started, it will be visible to all participants in your live event. The visibility refers to:
- Taxi Studio
- Taxi Cockpit
- Taxi Player
- Taxi Chat Window
For your viewers, the poll appears within the chat and looks something like this:

Your viewers will immediately receive a live evaluation of the answers after their vote.
4. Stop poll and publish results
By means of "Share results as message", the results can be shown in the chat at any time (as interim results or as final results). Once another viewer has voted, the results will be updated live
By stopping the poll, all viewers can still view the results, but no longer vote. Afterwards, the result can be completely removed using "Hide results" (or, if desired, transferred to the chat via "Share results as a message").
After your livestream has ended you will receive all polls from Video.Taxi via email.
