When creating or updating a Vocabulary, you can also specify a translation for an entry. A so called Glossary can be useful if, for example, you want to ensure that a very specific translation is used when the spoken text is automatically translated.
If you’d like to specify a translation for your Vocabulary entries, the section marked in red here is relevant when creating or updating the dictionary:
Here, you specify the “Primary language” in which you enter the entries, and then the translation language(s) in which you enter the translation.
Below that, under “Phrase to be displayed in subtitles,” enter the dictionary entry. If it does not require a translation (proper nouns, etc.), check the box next to “Use for all languages.” Otherwise, enter the translation(s) below. Click “Add entry” to add more dictionary entries and translations. Finally, click “Create dictionary” (if you’re creating a dictionary) or “Update dictionary” (if you’re updating it).
You’ll now see, to the right of the dictionary title, a green indicator showing that the “Glossary is active”:
