Once you've logged in to https://translator.video.taxi/, you'll see the “Create New Room” button in the top right corner. Use this to create a new Translator meeting, where the conversation with your counterpart will be translated automatically and in real time.
After clicking the button, give the meeting a name and click “Create.”
The newly created room will then appear in the overview. To start the meeting, click “Join Room.” To let your conversation partner join the room, send them the link - which you can copy to your clipboard by clicking “Copy Link.”
When you join a room, a window opens where you can enter your name, the language you speak, your gender (the translation voice is either male or female), and the camera and microphone you’re using. You can also specify a “Vocabulary” to improve speech recognition. This must have been created beforehand in your VIDEO.TAXI account. Learn more about Vocabularies here.
