When you open the speech session, a window opens where you can start the session. In addition to selecting the translation language, you can also make a few advanced settings here. To do this, click on “Show advanced settings”.
Now you can determine the flow direction of the displayed text, i.e. where the text is displayed on the screen and where it flows. Either from bottom to top or from top to bottom. The former corresponds to the conventional reading flow. However, the second option is useful at conferences or other events where people from a distance can better read what is being said further up on the screen.
The display of a QR code on the screen can also be activated in the advanced settings. This can then be scanned by viewers with a mobile device, allowing them to follow the session directly on their device. This is what the QR code looks like:
