You can test the settings of your livestream in advance: Maximum three tests, 15 minutes each, in the period of 12 hours to a maximum of 35 minutes before start. However, we recommend that you start testing much earlier on.
The livestream test is mainly used to check whether your encoder (software or hardware) successfully transmits a signal to Video.Taxi. Parameters like ingest URL and streamkey remain the same.
You do not have to change anything. If your encoding is successful, the stream you encoded will be displayed in the Video Cockpit. The player remains inactive for your viewers. This way they cannot see your test process.
