You can use the subtitle editor to edit your transcript. Call up the relevant media in your MEDIA and click on it. At the bottom left, go to the subtitles section and click on "Edit" to edit the transcript.
The following editing interface will now open, where you can adjust the text (don't forget to click on "Save" at the end):
If you click on a specific point in the paragraph, the related sentence will be highlighted. By clicking on the screen icon, the video in the player will automatically jump to the point where the sentence begins. The length of the sentence in seconds is displayed on the right.
You can change the displayed name of the speaker using the symbol in the middle. Alternatively, you can also do this in the speaker section on the right or by clicking on the speaker name above the paragraph (S1, S2 etc. is selected here by default).
After clicking on one of the options, a window opens in which you can change the name. Here you can either “create a new speaker” (assign someone a new name) or “assign an existing speaker” to a passage. By clicking on the box below, you can assign a name to the selected text section until the next speaker change.
If you have clicked on "Update speaker", the name will now appear in the editor:
Don't forget to save after you're done!
When you have finished editing, you can also download and export the transcript.
