Watching an event online consumes less CO2 and travel costs than an event on site. You can determine these savings with the help of the “ecoPlayer” function and make them visible to your viewers.
To activate it, go to the "Player" section in your livestream, scroll to "ecoPlayer" and click on "Edit"
To determine the CO2 savings, check the box “Calculate CO2 footprint”. Enter the location of the event so that the distance between the spectator and the event can be calculated. Finally, you can select whether the total CO2 savings of all participants should be displayed.
The display of saved travel costs works in a similar way. Here, however, you enter a self-estimated average value for the travel costs (in euros). This is then displayed to the viewers. You can also choose here whether you want to display the total savings.
Finally, you choose whether the impact should always be shown and click on "Save changes".
