Creating a Meeting-Bot is a very simple and intuitive process. To do this, log in to meetings.video.taxi with your Microsoft account.
To be able to create a bot, you need to store an API key in the settings. You can find out how to do this here.
Once this is done, click on “Create” in the top right-hand corner.
In the interface that now opens, enter the URL of the meeting. You can find this in the Microsoft Teams app after you have clicked on “People” in the meeting. In the browser, you can simply copy the URL above while you are in the meeting.
Now you have two options: Either you select that the bot only transcribes or you select that it also translates into selected languages at the same time.
If you tick the first option, all you have to do is select which language is spoken in the meeting. Then you're ready to go!
If you also want the bot to translate, select which language is spoken and into which language(s) it should translate. It can translate into over 45 languages at the same time!
Once you have made your selection, you can make a few “Advanced settings”, such as joining time or an individual bot message (more on this here) and then click on “Invite bot”.
