Before your livestream starts, you can show a trailer or thumbnail in the player, for example to get waiting participants in the mood for the stream. Participants who click on the link before the livestream starts will then see the trailer/image. This is visible from the time the livestream is created until the actual livestream starts. If you do not select a trailer, the Video.Taxi logo will be displayed before the stream starts.
Trailer
You can use any video in your MEDIA as a trailer, so you can also upload a video specifically to serve as a trailer for a livestream. To select the trailer, go to the “Player” tab under ‘Trailer’ and click on “Edit.”
In the window that opens, you can open a tab under “Pre-Trailer” and select a video. Then click on “Save changes.”
The selected video will now play in a loop until the actual stream begins. If you do not select a trailer, the Video.Taxi logo will be displayed before the stream begins.
Preview image
If you would like to use your own preview image instead, you can do so easily by clicking on “Edit” in the “Details” tab.
In the window, you can upload an image file under “Thumbnail,” which will then be used.
