In addition to generating subtitles and a pure speech transcript, you also have the option of automatically recognizing speakers and integrating them into the subtitles/transcripts with the "Speaker Diarization" function.
After you have gone to the audio file via MEDIA, selected the "Subtitles" tab in the Cockpit player and clicked on "Transcribe from Audio" (this process is explained in detail here), you must "Activate Speaker Diarization" in the following section.
After clicking on "Create subtitles" you will get to the subtitle editing area. On the left side you can see what is said and the corresponding speakers, here signalized by "S1" and "S2".
Below you can download the transcription either as subtitles or as a transcript, replace it or delete it.
If you do not need the speaker categorisation, please download the TXT file.
You will receive a text document showing the speakers by clicking on "Download transcript".
This is what the downloaded transcript will look like:
Tip: If you want to rename the speakers, you can use the "Search and Replace" tool in your txt program to search for "S1" or "S2" and then replace them with any name.
